Two weeks from yesterday we go on our Make-A-Wish trip to Disney. We are getting excited. (and feeling a little overwhelmed with the traveling with 7 poeple on our first plane trip as a family.)It should be a great trip with lasting memorieswewill post pics someone where when we get back!
Everyone is doing well. Andrew is in 7th grade and is an A-B student in the accelerated program. Last year they finally put him in Access (as they call it) and it was an adjustment but this year has been much better for him. He just finished up a merrit badge challenge stint. Taking up 3-4 Sat. mornings!
Jessica has had a rough year adjusting to middle school life and dealing with all the stairs and jokes of kids that age against kids with diabilities. But she enjoyed a her first plane ride with a trip into Washington DC and off to Maryland for her NIH drug study. We will go back the end of May having completed our 6 moth study. Jessica is 11,will be 12 in May, and enjoys her Activity Day girls activities and is eagerly looking forward to joining the Young Women in May and going to yet another camp this summer!
Sarah is 9 and is in third grade. She does very well in school. She also enjoys Activities with Girls achievement. Sarah is also in her third year of ballet and has picked up tap this year also. She is preparing for her recital in April.
Holly is 6 and is also in ballet & tap and sort of enjoys it! We'll see if she wants to do it again next year! She is a happy, energetic girl. Who has always has a smile on her face and tells us she loves us 100x's a day! (we love it!)
Matthew is 2 and is a very quiet baby. He still isn't talking. Doc says to take him to SpeechTherapy but we haven't yet. He is a happy lil guy who enjoys helping everyone. (whether they want/need it or not!) H enjoys nursery and helps the teachers out by goiing out and grabbing the kids who escape and pulls them back into nursery! They get a good laugh out of that!
Michael and Michelle are doing well also. Now that Michelle is up off her back again after being down for a month!
